Dear Friends and Colleagues,

I have the privilege of serving on boards of companies and academic institutions where I learn about new concepts in the wellness industry from innovative thinkers from around the world. Once in a while I hear something that I know is a game changer. That happened earlier this year at the annual meeting of the EHL International Advisory Board in Lausanne, Switzerland, when Professor Meng-Mei “Maggie” Chen presented her concept which she outlines in her book, Hospitality Vibes.

When that “aha” moment hits, my first thought is that I want to share it with all of you. Lucky for us, Dr. Chen will be with us in Dubai for our 19th Global Wellness Summit. Not only will she present, she will also host a table topic luncheon. As a bonus, she will be one of the “Sharks” during the Shark Tank of Wellness student competition. After all, Dr. Chen is a beloved professor of marketing and knows how to get the most out of students.

As I look over this year’s exceptional lineup, I’m reminded of what makes the Global Wellness Summit such a singular experience: it’s not just the caliber of thought leadership—it’s the access. This is an insiders’ gathering of top decision-makers, where delegates don’t just listen to influential leaders like Dr. Chen—they connect with them. These kinds of meaningful interactions have sparked ideas, partnerships, and innovations that continue to shape the future of our industry. I have no doubt that hearing Dr. Chen speak on Hospitality Vibes will be one of those defining moments.

Join us for the 19th Global Wellness Summit and learn why Dr. Chen—and I—think Hospitality Vibes is the future of hospitality.

Best,

Human Interaction at the Heart of the Industry

The pressing question now is how to exit this storm and reinvent new value propositions for the industry and its stakeholders. Could hospitality be on the verge of developing a higher purpose simply based on its innate DNA?
