Deron Triff is the founder of Project VELUM, a neuroscience initiative exploring whether immersive storytelling and entertainment experiences that evoke awe, wonder, and emotional connection can measurably influence the human nervous system and become a new form of health infrastructure. He is developing the VELUM Research Platform, which synchronizes neurophysiological data with the creative and sensory elements of immersive experiences. Previously, Deron helped build breakthrough media platforms for PBS Kids, TED, and WaitWhat, including Masters of Scale and Meditative Story, reaching more than a billion people and generating over $1 billion in revenue.
