Ho KwonPing is Founder and Executive Chairman of Banyan Group and Laguna Resorts and Hotels, and Executive Chairman of Thai Wah Public Company. Ho was founding Chairman of Singapore Management University and has served on the boards of Singapore Airlines, Standard Chartered Bank, Diageo and GIC. His many honors include the London Business School Entrepreneurship Award, Singapore CEO of the Year, HICAP’s Innovation and Lifetime Achievement Awards, and AHEAD Asia’s Outstanding Contribution Award (2024). He has also received Singapore’s Meritorious Service Medal and Distinguished Service Order, along with three honorary doctorates.
