At the Gym, High Intensity Is Out, ‘Sculpt’ Is In

HIIT, or high-intensity interval training, workouts are falling out of favor. Fewer people are resuming high-intensity exercises as they go back to in-person fitness classes, according to trainers, instructors and other fitness professionals. Instead, more are doing gentler exercise such as yoga or walking, and giving priority to strength-training and mobility over quick calorie-burning and weight loss.
