Ilan Samish, PhD, is driven to create products that address global wellness issues such as metabolic diseases linked to high sugar intake. His has disrupted the nutrition and healthy eating sector with the first healthy and tasty protein-based sweetener, Amai Proteins, which was named global winner of the 2022 Extreme Tech Challenge. Dr. Samish has a Ph.D. from Weizmann Institute of Science, a postdoc fellowship from the University of Pennsylvania, and an academic career at Weizmann, Hebrew University and Braude College of Engeneering.
