Dr. Finley welcomes special guest Theodora WarriorHealy to discuss Indigenous wellness and the role of financial empowerment. WarriorHealy is a proud Blackfoot member of the Piikani Nation from the southern region of Treaty 7, in Alberta, Canada. They will highlight WarriorHealy’s ground-breaking financial literacy program that includes indigenous culture and extends beyond finances. Also, they discuss the many ways that Indigenous culture can cultivate wellness.


About Theodora WarriorHealy

Theodora WarriorHealy is an independent Indigenous Empowerment Facilitator with a passion for financial literacy, awareness and education. Through her life experience, truth telling and knowledge sharing she helps other members of the Piikani Nation navigate the Western world. She is the youngest daughter of a residential school survivor, giving her the life experience to connect with her audience. Her nomadic and third culture upbringing created a unique connection between both worlds. She looks to fulfill her vision of financial empowerment for every Nation through teams and other support.


About Dr. Nicola Finley 

Nicola Finley, MD, sits on the Global Wellness Summit board of advisors and is a board-certified internal medicine physician and adjunct faculty member at the Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona. She is the Founder and Principal at Dr. Nicola, PLLC, a physician-led boutique consulting practice focusing on integrative medicine, women’s health, employee wellness and global health equity. Dr. Finley hosts this webinar series, interviewing special guests and sharing her own personal stories about inclusion—or lack thereof—in wellness.
